Charles Emmitt Capps, farmer, land developer and Bible teacher from England, Arkansas was promoted to heaven on Sunday, February 23, 2014. On Friday he informed family and shut friends that he would be going home in three days, and as a human being of integrity, a man of religion, and man of his give-and-take, he did exactly every bit he said.
A lifelong Arkansas resident, Charles was born in Brummitt, Arkansas on Jan 4, 1934. He farmed cotton, soybeans and rice in the England area until 1978, when he retired to go a full fourth dimension Bible teacher.
In the early 1960'due south, Charles traveled extensively as a lay government minister teaching personal evangelism with D.L. "Sam" Jordan in Assemblies of God Churches all over the United states. During this fourth dimension, he also spent time ministering to the inmates at Tucker Prison Subcontract in Tucker, Arkansas. He was an active deacon and Sunday School teacher at the Start Assembly of God Church in England, Arkansas for many years.
In the later 1960's, a meeting with Loren Cunningham led to a new venture of involvement with the organization, Youth With a Mission. Known in religious circles equally "The Flight Farmer," Charles flew his Piper Twin Comanche aircraft to the Bahama islands, where he led teams of young people in sharing Jesus Christ with residents of the islands.
While standing his farming, Charles had a "take chances" coming together with a paper salesman and a cab driver at the Keo Methodist Men's Breakfast which led to a profound change in his life. He was told near the ministry of Kenneth E. Hagin and given a pocket-sized book chosen, Right and Wrong Thinking. The concept of "what nosotros think we say, and what we say nosotros believe" struck a string with him and he began to study the Bible in a new light. He began to realize that his words had ability, so he changed what he was saying and what he was thinking. It was a struggle to leave of the negative stream of life, but soon he saw the fruit of his words and his life began to change.
Invited to share his story at Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship meetings, his simplistic style of instruction applied truths from the Bible appealed to people from every Christian denomination. The requests for speaking engagements became so great after the press of his pamphlet, God's Creative Power� Will Work For Yous, that he retired from farming and became a total-fourth dimension Bible instructor, eventually authoring 24 books, including the God's Artistic Power� series, with well-nigh 6 1000000 copies sold. Many of the books are published in multiple languages.
When this farmer from England, Arkansas began to teach 15 minute segments on the radio, the response was overwhelming and the Concepts of Organized religion Radio and Television receiver Broadcast was launched. With his down to earth style, Charles taught that our words are similar seeds and we found them into the ground of our middle by speaking them out loud. Charles is survived by his wife Peggy, his daughters, Annette Capps and husband, Gary Buckmaster, Beverly Capps, iii grandchildren, Zachary Capps and married woman Erin, Caleb Burgess and wife Helen, BreAnne Brue and hubby Zachary, and 2 great grandchildren, Katie and Corwin Brue.
Private services were held at Roller-England Funeral Dwelling house on February 25, 2014.

Thanks so much for Charles Capps ministry continuing even after he has gone to heaven. I listened to Kenneth e hagin (who had a profound effect on my human relationship with God) and he mentioned Charles Capps as a corking teacher so I sought out his ministry building.
Thank you that his books are still available, his radio broadcasts are available on podcast apps and his teachings are available on YouTube.
Charles Capps ministry building has as well impacted my human relationship with God and understanding Gods Word. So uncomplicated yet and then profound.
I am ever grateful for Charles Capps faithfulness in serving God and sharing what he learned.

A few weeks ago, I listened to Kenneth Hagin Seminar on Youtube on Faith. I was very impressed with the message, i of the most important ones I accept e'er heard. Then, I found out that I had really listened to Charles Capps, thinking information technology was Kenneth Hagin. I fell in love with Charles Capps teaching immediately buying every bit much media equally I could. He teaches faith to the public deeper than Kenneth Hagin did.
I am very sorry not to have met Charles Capps when he was all the same alive. His messages could have really changed me before in life had I given him a gamble dorsum so.

Shortly after accepting Jesus as my Lord and savior, I was given a record from a friends mother who said to me "the Lord told me to give y'all this record. That was one-time in 1986. I was stuck on what Jesus mean't when he said in matthew ch12:31 regarding the blasphemy of the holy ghost not being forgiven of me.Well brother Capps explained what Jesus hateful't and then clearly and accurately that I couldn't go enough of his incredible simple way of being teaching. Oddly enough....
I don't recall who or where or when I was given a copy of "God's creative power for healing."
Information technology was likely my Christian mother, YEARS ago. To brand long, curt- I put the footling book in my "beater with a heater" 4x4 adventure vehicle.
Afterwards years of it sitting I recently worked to brand that vehicle driveable once more. The petty book, covered with dust and clay- formerly mud, from tagging along in past adventures in the 4x4 has now been received in my center and implemented into my life.
I'm so grateful. Glory to the Lord for mighty warriors past, still ministering to the living.

May I have the privilege of paying my condolences to Peggy and Annette Capps for sharing your married man and male parent with the states. I was introduced to Charles Capps in 1988 along with Kenneth E Hagin and Kenneth Copeland. The easiest instruction forth with Kenneth E Hagin has been my God's Creative Power For Healing book and CD's My wife and I sleep with the Charles Capps CD playing side by side to our bed every night. Many times I find my self quoting the confessions with Charles. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God Romans 10:17 and folks when you get that CD grounded downwards in your heart it makes it very difficult for sickness to find a mode in. Plus we give away the little books to people when nosotros have the opportunity to pray with them. Charles Capps has certainly been a great asset in our lives and continues to exist with the legacy he has left behind. The reason for my being late is I just found the obituary page was notwithstanding on line. When I was ill with Stage 4 cancer , I would read Gods
creative healing volume and I would but read and confess, until my mind was at ease and my spirit was at rest. I believe that Charles was the best in the world at watching over his words on a daily basis and actually saw him correct Brother Copeland on TV during a session by proverb to Brother Copeland No blood brother Copeland, I cannot agree with that comment, to which Brother Copeland responded, you are right Charles.

Anybody i take listened to ; adrian rogers, derek prince, kenneth hagin, have all by on. excellant teachers. yet i ran beyond Mr.Capps proper name on youtube and was hooked from day one giving praise to our Male parent God....finually someone out in that location speaks how i think...and can explain every ounce of how our savior is Awesome by literally speaking : sowing what we reap. My husbands fily are all farmers in southwest Arjansas exterior of Stuttgart and Bro Capps understanding of farming fabricated him all the more conceivable and attractive to the states. Nosotros met Charles and Peggy about twoscore years ago in Atlanta at a Total Gospel Convention. His pedagogy on the Discussion of God changed and blessed our lives. Nosotros got all his cassette tapes and books back in the eighty's and when he was in GA SC AL we would endeavor to see them Our children thought that anybody spent their holiday going to a Charles Capps coming together. Every area of our life has been challenged and blest with the victory because of Faith in God's word, The blood and piece of work of Jesus on the cross, his death and resurrection his righteousness his Holy Spirit that was given to all believers. Mr. Charles Capps helped to Awakened many to the love, mercy and goodness of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have loved Charles and Peggy all these years from afar. We have loved giving to this ministry building because of its integrity. We remember Peggy being sick but defeating it . Celebrity to God for their life and ministry. Love this family.

So thankful for the precious seed that he sowed over the years. My most memorable statement from a book of his is: As I was pedagogy from this text, Jesus said to me, "I have told my people they can have WHAT THEY SAY, but they are SAYING WHAT THEY Take."
I know Our Comforter volition guide the family through all of this-from celebrity to glory. I also cannot help but mention how wonderful the Angel Messages that Annette shared many years ago are.

I had the groovy pleasure to piece of work for the Capps Ministry for over half dozen years. Charles and Peggy and the entire staff became a 2d family to me. The Word spoken through these wonderful people inverse and continue to alter my life. Ms. Peggy and the entire family are in my prayers. Charles is in a cute place. Until nosotros encounter over again...
